This route enables you to discover a relegious Romanic art from La Selva
which is often unfamiliar. Three ancient monasteries can be visited, some
of them with highly interesting Romanic elements, such as the belfry in the
monastery of Sant Salvador de Breda. The mountain areas are mushroomed with
little chapels, whereas in the plains one can see the Romanic vestiges in
the current parish churches.
This route is intended to be done by car. Apart from some singular cases,
the vast majority of the stated monuments can be reached by car, or through
a short walk from a close point.
